Ian has been working for Abacus in Hong Kong for 18 months developing our core areas of business which we feel can be most useful in Hong Kong and China: Trusts, Funds and Gibraltar companies (as an alternative to BVI companies).

Both panels discussed the changing economy and ecosystem and how the world is evolving into a digital market with the use of artificial intelligence and crypto currencies. The Abacus team gave an overview of how Gibraltar has adapted to Distributed Ledger Technology and Crypto Funds with the support of the government and regulation and how the old offshore jurisdictions such as Hong Kong and Gibraltar are now the new onshore locations with offshore benefits.
