Robert Guest

Bob has had a variety of roles throughout his career beginning at Unilever Plc in 1975 as a trainee accountant. His early career involved the development of operational budgets, strategic plans, mergers and acquisitions.

In 1988 Bob moved to Gibraltar becoming a Vice president at Credit Suisse (Gibraltar). In 1998 he joined PwC, where he was able to use his expertise in trusts, company management, corporate finance and international tax structuring for the benefit of the firm’s clients.

He became a Tax Partner and in 2012 was appointed Chairman of Abacus. During his time as Chairman of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) Bob also served on the Gibraltar Finance Centre Council and has been closely involved with the development of Gibraltar’s tax system.

Robert graduated in economics from University College London, is a Fellow of the Chartered  Association of Certified Accountants and is a registered Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP).
